Video Games News
The big news this week when it comes to massive video games releases is the Western-themed “Red Dead Redemption” from Rockstar. This highly anticipated game has received critical acclaim from the reviews of it so far thanks to an interactive environment and multi-player game focus. The title is due to be released tomorrow (21st May) on Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles.
In other news, Nintendo has announced that it has partnered with The American Heart Foundation to promote healthy living and gaming through the Wii console. The companies are joining together in helping people to “promote healthy living through active-play video games.”
Online Games News
When it comes to online games, there is a big market out there already. The telecommunications giant BT has announced they will be bringing online games through an on-demand service to its broadband customers some this year.
The games will be provided by US-based OnLive Game Service with the latest games being streamed to home computers and TVs with an internet connection. There will be some big games titles in the pipeline and if the US network for gamers is anything to go by, we could be expecting hits such as Dragon Age Origins, Prince of Persia and Borderlands.
