PC games are a form of entertainment in many countries and make for good family times together. However, there are those games that have been subject to a lot of regulation, considering that their themes and motifs became a little too risqué. Games filled with sex, violence, graphic descriptions and strong language are bound to become the eye of most controversies.

PC games that faced much opposition

There were games such as Cobra Mission at the beginning of PC gaming that had strong themes of obscene graphics and foul language. As time went by, this opposition was directed at open ended games such as Grand Theft Auto which had adult themes in some places. It was also alleged that there were certain cheat codes during gameplay that were of a controversial nature. Additionally this game also met with brickbats with regards to the violence which was part of the gameplay.

The latest game to become entangled in such problems

The latest game to become an itch for many is a Japanese game called Rapelay. This is an open ended game with severe outcomes. While this game is not released in the US and UK markets, it is available underground in the US. Numerous protests have been conducted against this game from entering the US market.
