The Paris-based games publisher has celebrated its tenth year in the downloadable games arena by announcing it has now sold over 330 million games. Gameloft has enjoyed continued success during this time and is well regarded as one of the most innovative developers around.
The company has expanded its reach over the years and now produces games for smartphones and mobile phones with Apple’s iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad being amongst key markets. Gameloft also boasts a presence in the provider of games console content for the Sony Playstation Network, Microsoft Xbox LIVE Arcade and WiiWare amongst others.
The president and founder of Gameloft, Michel Guillemot has attempted to explain the success of the firm:
