Adobe Systems have issued patches for its most popular offering, Flash Player. The Flash Player has been experiencing a lot of vulnerabilities in the latest versions, which have been exploited by hackers for their own motives.
Adobe has labelled these vulnerabilities as critical and ones that can cause the application to crash. These vulnerabilities can even allow a hacker to control the computer. The bugs, which allow them to enter your system, can also make an impact on the Acrobat and Reader applications offered by Adobe Systems as they utilise Flash software.
The security problems affect Adobe Flash Player versions 10.x and 9.x, where x is any iteration within that version class. The security issues can also be caused in Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat 9.x up to 9.1.2. These flaws spread across various operating systems, affecting machines running on Windows, Macintosh or UNIX.
In recent times, there have been a lot of reports about hackers launching intrusion attacks upon people using Flash Player on their computer.
